In November 2022, Mayei Matsumoto participated in the "Miss Earth 2022 World Pageant" in the Philippines as a representative of Japan.


The video introducing Ms. Shin-ei Matsumoto used on the day of the convention was filmed at Zenbo Seinei. Ms. Matsumoto has been communicating to the world not only the environment and living creatures on Awaji Island, an island born in Japan and rich in nature, but also the spirit of Zen, which is deeply rooted in Japan.
